{"id":13,"date":"2009-05-03T20:16:33","date_gmt":"2009-05-04T03:16:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/jonandlayne.com\/?p=13"},"modified":"2009-05-03T20:19:00","modified_gmt":"2009-05-04T03:19:00","slug":"13","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jonandlayne.com\/13\/","title":{"rendered":"Remember The Vision"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">A Jon Post:<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The vision is the Gospel of the Kingdom forcefully advancing.<br \/>\nThe vision is the hand of Christ touching \u201cthe least of these\u201d.<br \/>\nThe vision is food for the hungry, drink for the thirsty, clothing the naked, taking in the stranger, and visiting the sick and imprisoned.<\/p>\n<p>The vision is a ministry in south-west Angola. Children orphaned by AIDS, war, poverty, who are given a chance to have a father and mother. The vision is long days, late nights, dirty hands, breathing in and breathing out the life, love and pain of giving ourselves to others and to Christ.<\/p>\n<p>Remember\u2026 oh friends and family, remember the vision.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s important. Vitally important.<\/p>\n<p>I had just finished telling a young man in Africa of the love of Jesus Christ and about the intimate plans and relationship that Christ has for him, when he asked me why his parents and grandparents hadn\u2019t heard this.\u00a0 You see, this vision has been around for a long time. We are just a part of it and we affect it mightily. That young man\u2019s parents were a part of the vision.<br \/>\nBut some times people forget the vision. Ezekiel tells us that we have a heavy responsibility as Watchmen to speak and to warn people. Ezekiel metaphorically tells us that their blood will be on our hands. Don\u2019t believe me? Read it. Read Ezekiel chapter 33. Read it. Verse 6\u2026 \u201cHis blood will I require at the watchman\u2019s hand.\u201d<br \/>\nYOU are a watchman with the rest of us. You are not alone. We stand together. Together.<br \/>\nBe desperate with us. Dear friend be desperate with me. We cannot do this alone. STAND body of Christ\u2026 STAND!<\/p>\n<p>Remember\u2026 oh friends and family, remember the vision.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s important.
