Just had a fun facebook chat/visit with Jacob’s Scottish roommate’s mother. We were sharing our thoughts and struggles with have our sons gone from home for the first time. I’m sure your parents could relate to that! It’s amazing we can communicate over such long distances, so easily! Speaking of communicating, I’d love to have a blog like yours. It’s great! Is it hard to do, expensive? It’s just wonderful to see your pictures and read your notes/updates!!!
Keep the faith, lean on the Lord, know we miss & love you and are praying for you! Your Portugal adventure is almost over, I can’t believe it!
I’m excited to see how God works through you and guides your steps in the coming days.

ps… Remember (I need to) we have the Holy Spirit living in us… individual people living Spirit-filled lives… will change the church (world.) John 16:7-8, 13, Eph 5:18… being filled with the Spirit isn’t something we do once; rather, it is something we do always and repeatedly… this from a book I’m reading, Crazy Love, by Francis Chan. This author’s hope & prayer is that we’d be “listening and obeying and LIVING Christ. Knowing that God has called us each to live faithful and devoted lives before Him, by the power of His Spirit.” YOU two are an example of this kind of life!
