Jonathan Heller has been the most caring, loving, romantic, passionate, strong, and wise husband. I know many people would say these things of their husbands, but I honestly think I have the best out there. I would follow Jon anywhere. Really, I would. And I have. With him by my side, I feel safe and secure. Much of that is because I am able to rely on Jon’s wisdom and guidance that comes from our heavenly Father. He makes it easy to submit to his spiritual leadership. I respect Jon in every way; he is an example of Christ to me. I knew when I married him that I loved him, but I had no idea what was to come.
With each year that has passed I have fallen deeper in love with him. When Anaya was born I knew things may change a bit, and they have… for the better! (Who knew there was so much better?!) The day she was born he took to her like a natural. He is so patient and gentle, nurturing and kind. My heart becomes so full when I listen to him read and sing to her, when he prays over her. Anaya looks to her Daddy with awestruck eyes. I can already see the special bond she has with him, and I love it! Fatherhood suits him well.
Anaya is blessed to call Jon her Daddy, as I am to call him my husband.

Layne, as wonderful as Jon is in the husband-father department, I cannot adequately express how grateful I am to God for YOU, Jon’s precious and excellent wife. Bless you for the depth of your love and support, dear one. (I wish the “<3" would turn into a little heart here; I wanted to end with that, but it just looks like "less than 3". Too bad.)
Hi Layne: I have come to the conclusion that all the Heller men are wonderful husbands and fathers. When Jeff and I visited Becky in Arizona we met Dan, Ben & Joe. They were very friendly and welcoming to us. I know that I had prayed for Becky to meet someone very special and she has. Paul is such a great guy and he loves the Lord so much. I know he loves Becky just by seeing them interact together. I thank my Heavenly Father that Becky and Paul met at the Honour Academy. I hope someday to meet you and Jon. I feel the same way about my husband Jeff. He is a wonderful Husband and a loving father to Julie and Becky. I am so very fortunate to have him as my husband. Happy Father’s Day to Jon.
So true Layne. I admire Jon for his love for you, and now precious baby Anaya. We are blessed along with you to witness Jon’s love for you both~
Oh! I must add that I praise God for Jon being the “Man” in you girls lives as well :) We love him alot :)
One of my most favorite thing about embarking on the journey into parenthood was seeing how the love and intimacy between my husband and I grew. There is something so profoundly special about the tangible manifestation of ‘two becoming one flesh’ when your first baby is born that can draw a couple together. Happy Anniversary!
