Yesterday I heard my husband talking with his mom; he was saying, “The last time we saw Joe and Evie (our brother and sister-in-love) was when they were getting into their car on the way to their honeymoon; we’ve never spent time with them married!”
How the time passes.
We have recently passed the one and a half year mark. I feel it shows most in the children, which is one of the hardest parts about being here… missing our time with our nieces and nephews. Here is a look at the changes since we’ve been gone.
And the new additions…
And our very own…
Sigh. It will be good to catch up at the end of this year.
Oh I luv the pics…even though I don’t know them all, I feel a bit ‘closer’. And little miss Anaya is the cutest little princess. Guess I won’t be able to stop kissing and hugging. Thank you for keeping us posted. Lot of Nam love
Oh, Layne, Jon, and Anaya, we can’t wait to get our arms around you! And in November/December you will be able to wrap your arms of Auntie/Uncle/Son/Daughter/Brother/Sister/Friend-Love around all the ones who have continued growing and changing in the (then)-two years since you left. We know that your contribution to God’s Kingdom, the sharing of His heart-love, will have been worth all the sacrifice. Keep your eyes on the More-Than-Worthy Lord Jesus Christ!!
You are such an amazing uncle & aunt! I can’t wait to see you in-action as daddy & mommy. What a fun reunion it will be!
Oh! Layne, I agree with Vicki, what you three are doing for the Kingdom of God is so going to be worth it…we believe, therefore we trust :) We do all so very much appreciate that ya’ll counted the cost and still yes “Yes, Lord”!!!! You and Jon teach us all SO much by your sacrifices. May we all do all we can to help ya’ll feel missed and loved…… all my love, Mama

It will be so great to see the 3 of you in December!! Until then, we will be praying you through till you have your arms wrapped around all of your loved ones. :-)
Love that pix of Micah – he is holding one of Abrianna’s chickens. :-) Anaya is beautiful!!
May the next few months be filled with strength and encouragement as you reach out to those around you – and anticipate the joy of coming “home”.
Love the look back! Glad you didn’t post a look back at the adults, no reminder necessary that we are older too;) You may be farther away but never far from our daily thoughts, conversations, and prayers. December, here we come!!
